I have been practicing Family Law since 2016, prior to qualifying as a Solicitor in 2018. Going through a separation can be one of the worst experiences in someone’s life and I know separation can be a very daunting prospect. I feel extremely passionate and committed to ensuring that the process is made as straightforward as possible for my clients, by delivering firm and clear advice, whilst trying to achieve a swift and fair settlement.
Over the years, I have developed a strong ability to empathise with my clients and pride myself on being warm and approachable to all. Positive mental health is really important to me and I will always encourage clients to seek additional support if required.

I specialise in divorce and separation matters, including complex financial matters.
I am a member of our Armed Forces sector, specifically focusing on supporting military families through separation. This may involve addressing an appropriate settlement on divorce, which in many cases requires careful consideration as to whether the instruction of a single joint pensions expert is required.
There can also often be difficulties in navigating arrangements for the children, especially if there are international elements to consider. I can assist in advocating arrangements for children within court proceedings, domestic abuse issues and subsequent injunction proceedings if required.
I am extremely proud of the fact I was able to qualify as a Solicitor whilst also working full time in the legal sector over the course of four years. This provided me with invaluable experience in order to carry out my current job.
One of my greatest professional achievements is being ranked as a key lawyer in the 2024 Legal 500 Directory and receiving this quote: “Georgina Catlin is a fantastic solicitor. I am also very passionate about health and wellbeing and make a conscious effort to support and encourage my colleague and clients to make this a priority.
In my spare time, I regularly go on long walks exploring the surrounding villages in Wiltshire with my Hungarian Vizsla, Bella and Weimaraner, Atlas.
