Lindsey Nolan

Senior Associate Solicitor

Get to know me...

I am very proud to come from an agricultural background; my father and two brothers run our family dairy farm in Northern Ireland. I believe that coming from this background has equipped me with an awareness of the importance of timescales and ensuring that client objectives are understood clearly and their objectives are delivered. I understand how important it is for a family farm to be fully understood by a professional representative in order to give tailored advice, examples include the day-to-day running of the farm, the ownership structures, and any areas of diversification.

Family farms are often in families for generations and all farming families aim to secure the future viability of the farm. This is why continuity of representation from a law firm and the professionals within it, who have been dealing with the farm business throughout the years, is invaluable.

I qualified in 2013, having trained and practiced in Northern Ireland until I relocated to England in early 2015. During my training contract, I developed an interest in Conveyancing, finding that I enjoyed progressing matters from start to finish whilst keeping open good lines of communication with not just clients, but other professionals involved in the matter.

I joined Goughs Solicitors in 2017 and became an Associate Solicitor in 2019 and a Senior Associate in 2023.
