Get to know me

I joined Goughs in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor.

Prior to Goughs, I worked as an Assistant Company Secretary for three years then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law before working as a Paralegal in both Education and Private Client.

During my training at Goughs I did seats in Private Client, Employment and Residential Property. I then qualified into the Residential Property department in September 2024.

I chose Residential Property because I enjoy the fast-paced environment and the fact that every day is different with a new challenge around the corner. Buying or selling a home is one of the most stressful times of people’s lives and I am grateful to be able to provide our clients with practical help and guidance as well as legal advice.

In my spare time I enjoy baking for friends and family, going to the gym and eating my way through the local area, one slice of cake at a time. My cat Bruce also keeps me busy.

What I like about working for Goughs

I am passionate about the local area and was drawn to Goughs’ strong local base and excellent reputation. Goughs’ sector-based approach to client care allows us to provide overall holistic support to clients as well as meeting their specific needs which is also important to me.

The number of offices spread across Wiltshire means I am exposed to a variety of different places, specialisms and teams. Goughs has a strong foundation in the area but maintains a small and close-knit familial feel which is important as we continue maintaining solid relationships as trusted advisers to our clients.
