Trainee Litigator

Elizabeth studied Law at the University of Gloucestershire.

Having graduated in 2017, she initially joined a Salisbury firm as a Civil Litigation Paralegal, where she assisted with a wide variety of civil and commercial matters including, but not limited to, debt recovery, possession claims and Landlord/ Tenant disputes.

She joined Goughs as a Trainee Litigator in October 2019, and is also a member of the Armed Forces sector team.

Being an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, Elizabeth is currently working towards qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive, which she does in her own time between working and raising her 9 month old daughter, Harriet.

Where did you grow up?

Yate, Bristol.

What was your first job?

Working in a Café.

What are your hobbies?

Sailing (although I profess to have all the gear and no idea), swimming, reading and writing.

What is your favourite food?

A cheese board is the quickest way to my heart.

What is your favourite drink?

Shiraz.

What is your favourite film?

Bridget Jones’ Diary.

What is your favourite group/artist?

James Blunt.

What is your favourite book?

Emma by Jane Austen.

Your likes?

Family time, spa days and Autumn.

Your dislikes?

Ignorance, being hungry and dash cams.

Any personal ambitions?

To qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive and to explore more of the world.
