Landlord and tenant lease work

The Commercial Property Team at Goughs Solicitors have recently completed a commercial lease of Turnpike House, Methuen Park in Chippenham for market-leaders in millimetre-wave technology, Arralis. Leading the project, Solicitor, Olivia was therefore instrumental in assisting in the expansion of Chippenham’s business scene.

When market-leading communications and radar system specialists, Arralis, decided to relocate and make Chippenham the home of their new headquarters, Olivia acted in negotiating and completing the new commercial office lease comprising over 8,000 sq ft of high quality prime office space on behalf of the company.

Working to a tight deadline to ensure the move was efficient and the day-to-day business running of Arralis wasn’t interrupted, Olivia used her knowledge and expertise to ensure that the lease was completed within a strict six week timescale from the issuing of Heads of Terms by Alder King.

The move will allow Arralis to grow their team, bringing not only the economic boost to the town, but also the potential for jobs.

On the project itself and working with Arralis, Olivia commented:

“It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in, and lead such a significant project. I am often instructed on behalf of tenants and relish helping clients grow their businesses through the acquisition of the right commercial property.”

Jo Bown, Head of HR & Corporate Administration at Arralis, was delighted with the work carried out by the Commercial Property Team here at Goughs Solicitors:

“From my very first phone call to Goughs, my solicitor, Olivia, was brilliant and amazing and I can’t thank her enough for her patience and kindness, and most importantly, her knowledge in the world of commercial leases!”

Jo continued:

”I would definitely, without hesitation, recommend Goughs as they made the whole process of taking the lease on Turnpike House a breeze!”
