We are recruiting for an experienced PA to join the firm to support the partners and department heads.
You will be required to work 21.75 hours per week and will need to have flexibility as the working days will vary week to week depending on the needs of the business.
You will be able to perform the role remotely but will need to come to an office when required to attend a meeting in person. If you would prefer to be based in an office all of the time then this can easily be accommodated and can be discussed further at interview.
The role will involve collating the paperwork for monthly and quarterly partner meetings, taking minutes at these meetings and typing them up afterwards. There is also additional tasks after the meetings to complete such as producing outstanding action lists.
Other responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to, attending department meetings to take and produce minutes, typing up paperwork and records from internal meetings, liaising with venues regarding external bookings, supporting partners with the administrative side of strategic decisions and objectives and providing ad hoc support to the Managing Partner.
You will work closely with the Managing Partner as well as other members of the firm’s management team including partners, function managers and department heads. You will also be in regular contact with colleagues in our business support functions.
The roles requires previous knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office packages to include Word and Excel. Experience of working with PDFs, including bundling, is also needed but full training can be given.
You will need to have first rate secretarial and typing skills along with prior experience of minute taking. You will regularly using Microsoft Teams which you will receive full training on as part of your induction.
An excellent working manner and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is essential. We are looking for a PA who can remain focused under pressure, has strong prioritisation skills and is comfortable and confident showing initiative to help manage their workload.
