Get to know me

I have over 14 years’ experience as a Family Law specialist. I greatly enjoy the different aspects and challenges of this area of law. I take the time to get to know my clients in order to understand their objectives and desired outcomes. Where appropriate and possible I promote a conciliatory approach to issues, focusing on the needs of the client and always putting the wellbeing of any children involved first. My advice is clear, pragmatic, honest and outcome-focused in order to find the right solution for each individual. Experience has taught me the importance of building trusting relationships with my clients so I can effectively guide them through what are bound to be emotional and challenging times in their lives with compassion.

My greatest achievement

I joined Goughs in 2013 and am proud of having progressed to Associate before becoming a Senior Associate in 2020 alongside raising my young family. I am able to balance being a working mum and finding the time to partake in obstacle course events, running and have enjoyed taking an active role in my children’s school, having been a Governor until recently. The balancing act is an achievement every day!

Working at Goughs enables me to work on diverse and interesting cases whilst being able to strike a healthy balance with home life. At Goughs there is a strong sense of community and team spirit which enables us to work hard for the benefit of our clients, drawing on a wealth of experience. Being based in the beautiful county of Wiltshire really ensures that I can make the most of home life in the countryside. I come back into the office refreshed and renewed so I can deliver the best level of care to my clients.
