Get to know me

I started at Goughs in March 2016 as the receptionist in the Corsham office, where I got to experience a small insight into most of the areas we cover at Goughs. I spent a year as a secretary to the RELD team (learnt a lot!) before progressing into my current role.

I’ve certainly learnt a great deal so far and always do my utmost to get the best result possible for our clients.

My greatest achievement

Being in the role I am in one of my greatest achievements. I’m very proud of the strong relationships we have with our clients, and work hard to keep those as solid as possible. Having come into this role in perhaps a less conventional way, it’s a great reminder that if I put my mind to it, I can probably do it!

On a personal side, I bought my first home with my partner at the age of 23, which I’m incredibly proud of.

What I like about working for Goughs

First of all, my team and the people I work with. Having a great team to work with is paramount to enjoying what you do and building confidence in your role, and I’m very aware that I’m lucky to have that at Goughs.

Another thing is the feeling that you are working for a very successful firm, but it manages to keep the almost family feel of a smaller firm. Everyone knows everyone and pulls together when they need to!
