After starting at Goughs in March 2016 and spending almost two years as the receptionist in our Corsham office, I then moved into the Housebuilding and Development team as a Legal Assistant. In January 2019 I progressed into Plot Sales, and the rest is history!
I’ve certainly learnt a great deal so far and always do my utmost to get the best result possible for our clients.

Professionally, having been at Goughs for over a decade now is a big achievement in my opinion, most of which I’ve spent in Plot Sales! I’m very proud of the level of knowledge I’ve gained in that time, and the strong relationships we have with our clients, which we always work hard at to keep those as solid as possible. Having come into this role in perhaps a less conventional way, it’s a great reminder that if I put my mind to it, I can probably do it!
On a personal note, my partner and I bought our own home at the age of 23, and we had our little boy in 2021 – he is absolutely my greatest lifetime achievement!
First and always, my team and the people I work with. Having a great team to work with where you feel consistently supported is paramount to enjoying what you do and building confidence in your role, and I’m very aware that I’m very lucky to have that at Goughs.
Also, the feeling that we are working for a very successful firm, but it manages to keep the “family feel” of a smaller firm. Everyone knows everyone and pulls together when they need to!
