Get to know me

I began my academic journey studying Medicine at the University of Birmingham, before discovering my passion for the legal sector. I transitioned into law in February 2023, starting out as a Legal Assistant at Goughs before progressing onto the Apprenticeship scheme in the September.

My specialism lies in the Private Client department, with a particular emphasis on wills, trusts and probate matters.

What I enjoy most about my job  is meeting new people and establishing client relationships. One area of my work I find particularly interesting is estate administration, as it is a multifaceted area that requires a high attention to detail, and a structured approach.

Outside of Goughs, I really enjoy staying active through running and attending the gym, whilst exploring my creative side through art. I am also currently learning Spanish.

My greatest achievement

My greatest achievement to date has been securing a place on the Goughs Apprenticeship Scheme, which has given me the opportunity to build a career in law while gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

I am also proud to have volunteered at Dorothy House during the COVID-19 lock downs, an experience that reinforced the importance of supporting others and strengthened my empathy and communication in the workplace.

What I like about working for Goughs

I was drawn to Goughs because of its outstanding reputation and positive workplace culture. From day one, I felt supported and encouraged to achieve new heights, with one-to-one supervision from Private Client Partner, Sarah Loveless who provided me with invaluable guidance and advice.

What I value most is Goughs positive and collaborative culture, where ambition is met with enthusiasm. Goughs provides a platform for employees to flourish, and feel part of a team that truly puts the client first.
