I first became interested in law while studying Business Studies at college, where it formed part of the course. A family connection within the firm also gave me early exposure to the profession and a clearer understanding of what a legal career involves.
What appeals to me most is the variety. No two days are the same, and there is always something new to learn. I specialise in residential property work, which I enjoy because of the wide range of transactions and the fact that every matter is different.
I value working closely with colleagues across the firm and building strong working relationships. With clients, I take a friendly, approachable approach, focusing on clear communication and building rapport to ensure a positive experience.
Climbing Mount Snowdon is probably my biggest personal achievement. It was tough, but getting to the top felt worth it.
Professionally, getting a CILEX scholarship stands out the most. It took a lot of work and felt like a real turning point for me.
