Associate Chartered Legal Executive (TEP)

Following a career in housing and social services finance, Maxine joined Goughs in 2005 as a receptionist.  She became a paralegal in 2008 and studied with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives being admitted as a Fellow in 2012.

Maxine is now an Associate Chartered Legal Executive in the Private Client department working mainly with elderly clients. 

She deals with all aspects of private client work with a particular interest in Wills, The administration of Estates and Court of Protection work.

Maxine regularly attends the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Café in Melksham.

Maxine is:

  • A full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
  • A fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE)
  • A Dementia Friend


Outside of work Maxine enjoys walking in the countryside, going to the cinema, dancing and socialising with friends.
