Louise is an Associate Solicitor in our family team with over 10 years experience as a specialist family lawyer. She studied at Manchester University before working abroad for a year and then continuing her studies at Kingston University and then the College of Law in Guildford.
Louise joined Goughs in 2008, having completed her training contract in East Anglia and subsequently working with a leading family law practitioner dealing with high value financial remedy proceedings in the Central Family Court in London.
She has a wealth of experience and a particular interest in financial remedy proceedings. Her aim is to ensure that her clients obtain the best financial settlement possible to enable them to move forward with their lives. Louise regularly attends training seminars and events at the Temple London to ensure she is up to date with developments in the law.
She is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and is committed to their ethos of resolving family law disputes in a non-confrontational way by agreement, whilst also putting her clients’ needs at the forefront of negotiations.
She also regularly advises in relation to children matters, and is experienced in international relocation cases.
