Partner and Head of the Private Client Department (TEP)

Having studied for a degree in Law at the University of Glamorgan, South Wales, Emma completed her training with a highly regarded law firm in Bath before joining Goughs in 2008. 

Emma is a Partner and Head of the Private Client Department.  She deals with all aspects of private client work with a particular interest in trust arrangements for property ownership, and elderly client issues such as care fee planning.  She is also a member of our Property Investment Sector team.

Emma regularly volunteers as a Trustee for Age UK Wiltshire and attends Carers Support meetings in Devizes.

Emma is:

  • A full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
  • A fully accredited member of Solicitors For the Elderly (SFE)
  • A member of the Law Society Private Client Section
  • A Dementia Friend


Outside of work Emma enjoys spending time with her young family and singing in a local Rock Choir.
