Originally from Northern Ireland, Andrew joined Goughs in January 2006 as a trainee solicitor. Andrew now heads up the firm’s Real Estate, Land and Development team acting for developers, housebuilders and landowners on all aspects of development land.

He specialises in high value land acquisition and sales, Option Agreements, Conditional Sale Agreements, Planning Obligations, Development Finance, Infrastructure Agreements, Site set ups and the disposal of affordable housing.

Some of the recent projects Andrew has handled include:-

  • Acting for a consortium of developers in respect of Option Agreements for a development of 1000+ homes in Chippenham
  • The purchase of a former police station for redevelopment in Corsham
  • A multi million pound re-finance package for a 100 home development
  • Securing control of a 50 acre site for a commercial developer for the construction of a warehouse and distribution centre
