If you are considering a career in law, please find out more about apprenticeships.

Why Choose An Apprenticeship

An apprenticeship is a blend of a real, full-time paid professional job with all the responsibilities that come with employment as well as a programme of undergraduate study consisting of training and assessments that will develop and asses your growing competence. Your knowledge is tested by way of exams and assignments and your competence is tested primarily through the development of portfolio evidence that is submitted at the end of the apprenticeship.

What Goughs Can Offer Apprentices

Our biennial apprenticeship scheme is a fantastic opportunity to join us and take an alternative route into the legal profession.

For those taking the legal apprenticeship route, you will embark on a journey to achieve the Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship qualification within 24 months and at the same time gain all valuable and practical experience you need to give your career in law a solid grounding.

We are also offering a potential further qualification where you can continue the apprenticeship route via a Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship or a Solicitors Apprenticeship.
