Wiltshire law firm Goughs Solicitors is delighted to announce that it has raised £11,000 for the Devizes Opportunity Centre.
The law firm which has offices in Calne, Chippenham, Corsham, Devizes, Melksham and Trowbridge considered a host of worthwhile local charities before it selected the Devizes Opportunity Centre as its Charity Partner of the Year for 2015.
The Devizes Opportunity Centre is a Specialist Early Years Centre committed to promoting the overall development and life chances of young children who have disabilities, learning difficulties and complex health conditions.
Over the course of the year, Goughs held and participated in a variety of events to raise these vital funds, including the Goughs Charity Golf Day, the Chippenham Dragon Boat Race and the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
Martin Lang, Senior Partner at Goughs commented “As a firm we are delighted to have so greatly exceeded our initial fundraising target (£5,000). The final figure of £11,000 speaks wonders both for the dedication and commitment of our staff and their families who took this good cause to their hearts and also for the generosity of our clients.
