The Role

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a mid to senior level Private Client lawyer to join the team.

You will take over an existing caseload of varied Private Client work but you will also have the autonomy and scope to enhance this through various business development and networking means that suit your skill set and strengths. You will also be supporting Partners within the department with some High Net Worth Clients and Trust work.

We fully believe that working life as a lawyer has evolved and the day-to-day job is not always centred around fee earning. There will be opportunities to mentor, support and manage junior colleagues as well as participate in marketing activities for the department. You will also have the chance to join one of our Specialisms and work with colleagues from various departments across the firm. Some previous agricultural or commercial client experience is desirable but not essential.

The Department

The department currently comprises 16 lawyers and 13 support team members based across six of our offices. Many within the department are STEP qualified and SFE members.

Your Experience & Qualifications

You’ll need to have a minimum of three years PQE with experience of running a very broad and varied private client caseload.

Ideally you will be STEP qualified or working towards full membership.
