We’re looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic senior Employment lawyer with at least 7 years’ PQE to join the team in a dynamic role that has great prospects for you to broaden the Firm’s employment offering alongside building an employment team.
This role suits an experienced Employment Lawyer who is looking for a fantastic opportunity for professional and career progression, without compromising on work life balance or the quality of client work.
You will be required to undertake fee earning work, cross-refer work with clients within the Firm and maintain and develop strong working relationships with both clients, employees, contacts and introducers.
The role will involve working on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law and you will need to have prior experience of advising employers and employees along with tribunal experience.
Experience of business development and networking is essential and you will have the autonomy to prioritise which avenues to focus on for the best results to further develop and grow our Employment offering and market share.
Previous experience of providing expert legal advice in the following is essential:
• Drafting Tribunal documentation and managing Employment Tribunal claims;
• Employment contracts, policies and handbooks as well as other legal documentation;
• Consultancy, Non Executive and non standard director appointments and terminations
• Settlement agreements;
• Restructuring and redundancies;
• TUPE;
• Post-termination restrictions;
• General employee relations; and
• Dismissals, discrimination, whistleblowing and other disputes.
• Corporate support to the Corporate and Commercial team
You will need to be hard working and driven with clear communication skills and have the ability to deliver high quality advice with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to your work.
Experience leading and supervising junior members of the team would be advantageous.
