The Role

We’re recruiting for a Central Telephonist to join the team on a full-time basis to accept and route calls for various lawyers and colleagues across the departments and offices between the hours of 9.00am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday.

The role will require you to enquire as to the nature of all calls and either deal with them expeditiously and effectively or record and pass on information as required. You will need to ensure that all calls of sensitive or difficult nature are dealt with calmness, discretion and compassion, whilst ensuring strict confidentiality at all times.

Tasks of the role will also include placing outbound calls as requested as well as general administration duties ad hoc when required.

Your Experience & Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who has excellent customer service skills, is a great team player and is able to multi-task and prioritise. Experience of working with a switchboard or Teams telephony is desirable but not essential as full training will be  given.

You will also need to have an excellent professional working manner, a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
