Paul joined Middletons (which later merged with Goughs) in 1979, having previously worked as a salaried Partner for a firm in Hertford. Paul is a Partner of Goughs and Head of the Conveyancing Department. Paul has over thirty years experience in residential and commercial conveyancing, acting for both private clients and developers.
As former Head of the Conveyancing Department, Paul has been heavily involved in the modernisation and development of conveyancing systems, including the firm's response to the proposed introduction of Home Information Packs (HIPS) in 2007. He has now passed the mantle on in order to concentrate on commercial property work.
Away from the office, Paul is a Chairman of the Trowbridge Town Trust and of Independent Living in Wessex.
