Ira first studied Chemistry at London University before reading law at Exeter and completing the Law Society Finals at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Ira qualified as a solicitor in November 1993 and subsequently worked as a personal injury and civil litigator for a practice in Plymouth. Ira joined Goughs in 2001 and became a Partner of the firm in 2006.
Ira is the Head of the Personal Injury Department, which she manages in addition to her own case load. Ira specialises in the more complex claims involving multiple injuries and fatal accidents. Ira is also involved with the North Wiltshire Business Ladies Group.
