Goughs are welcoming a new edition to their Family Law Department with specialist translation skills.
Jet setting Louise Mortimor, previously an English teacher who taught English as a foreign language to students across Europe, has recently joined Goughs throwing off her cap and gown to move into translation of another kind.
Having retrained and spent the last 2 years working for a legal practice in Suffolk Louise will now be translating the law for residents in Trowbridge who are seeking advice on divorce, separation and co-habitation planning.
Louise commented, “I am delighted to be joining Goughs at a time when the firm is developing and I am excited about the challenges ahead. Goughs has an impressive, well established reputation throughout Wiltshire with both a strong commercial and private client base. I feel the experience and skills I bring complement the existing department."
Louise will be also be running the Trowbridge family drop-in clinic, which opens every Monday afternoon from 2pm; offering those seeking legal advice an opportunity to have a 30 minute free consultation and find out information about a range of issues including divorce, separation, childcare arrangements resulting from divorce, co-habitation planning, prenuptial agreements and civil partnership planning.
