Goughs, one of Wiltshire’s leading law firms, would like to congratulate Hardenhuish School who have recently achieved Academy status. The school is currently one of only a few High Performing Specialist Academies in the UK, a flagship initiative of the new coalition government.
Goughs formed a close working relationship with the school, providing advice and support in a number of crucial areas, including company formation, arranging funding agreements and advising on all aspects of employment.
This new style of “outstanding Academy” receives funding directly from the government, enabling the school to act more independently in order to provide the best educational experience for the local community.
The school aims to source local services wherever possible and the appointment of local law firm, Goughs demonstrates their commitment to this goal.
Jan Hatherell, Headteacher of Hardenhuish School commented “We have received excellent service from Goughs, who have provided sage advice and the most prompt delivery of all the legal aspects of becoming an academy. They have totally justified our decision to stay local, despite being courted by many top London firms.”
Goughs encourages all schools who are considering applying for Academy status to contact Gabby Corp or Kevin Basnett on 01249 812086 to discuss the legal and practical implications or to arrange a no obligation meeting.
